MARGARET NIXON, CPA, CIA, CCSA
Owner and Principal of Margaret Nixon, CPA, a CPA firm licensed in the state of Texas, providing accounting, audit and tax services to governmental entities, non-profits and private organizations.
Margaret has over 24 years of experience in accounting and audits for top Fortune 500 companies and has dedicated the last 11 years performing audits for Emergency Services Districts and 501 (c3) Fire Departments.Margaret obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at the University of Texas in San Antonio in 1998 and her CPA credentials in 2001. Margaret holds the following designations:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA): issued by the state of Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. (TSBPS)
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA): issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)
- Certified Control Self-Assessor (CCSA): issued by the IIA
RICHARD KRAMPE, CPA
Richard Krampe received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Texas in San Antonio in 1992 and his Texas CPA license in 2000. Richard has 18 yeas of experience in audits for governmental entities and has been a member of our audit team for the last nine years as part of the firm’s system of quality control.
CYNTHIA NIXON
Cynthia Nixon obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Western Governors University in 2021. Cynthia has been a member of our audit team for the last two years. Cynthia is currently pursuing the CPA designation. Cynthia also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations.
MARCY CRANE, CPB
Marcy Crane obtained her education from the University of Texas in San Antonio in 2016 and her Certified Public Bookkeeper license in 2015. Marcy has over twenty years of experience in bookkeeping, taxes and Quickbooks. She has been with our accounting firm for the past seven years.
